We’re Proud to Be A
Base for Belfast Arts
Located in Belfast, Cityside Retail Park. Arts for All has been a bedrock of community arts in north Belfast for 24 years. The core of the organisation's work is to offer opportunities for participation in the arts to support community development, education, community relations, personal development, and social cohesion.
Creating Positive Change
for the Community
Arts for All firmly believes that positive change can be achieved through the delivery of arts projects which can improve the lives of local residents – both today and in the future.
Through experience, Arts for All knows that those who become involved in creative activity are more inclined to stay involved in the life of the community.
‘I am Inspired’ Project
Since 2017, the ‘I am Inspired’ Project has created a space for adults with learning disabilities to engage with art.
From painting to sculpting, we support our participants in expressing themselves in a variety of mediums.

Marketa Babackova
Markéta B. – Pyrography & Mixed Media Artist
Markéta Babáčková is a pyrography and mixed media artist from the Czech Republic
whose work captures the beauty of animals, nature, and familiar landscapes. Her
artistic journey began with a simple yet transformative moment—purchasing a
soldering iron to craft wooden letters for her nephew. That experience sparked a deep
fascination with woodburning, leading her to explore the limitless possibilities of the
technique.
Driven by curiosity, Markéta works across a variety of mediums, including pyrography,
cyanotype print, watercolour, oils, inks, digital drawing, wood carving and others. Her
key inspiration comes from the world around her—animals, nature, people, and
architecture—all woven into her intricate hand-burned and mixed media artworks. Her
exhibition “Leading the Way” focuses on pet portraiture and Northern Irish landscapes,
exploring how a shared love of pets connects diverse communities across the region.

Community projects and workshops
Our art classes are offered at no-cost to participants, thanks to the generous support of funders dedicated to the north Belfast communities.
This initiative not only fosters creativity but also ensures that everyone, regardless of their financial situation, has the opportunity to explore their artistic talents.
By removing financial barriers, we aim to create an inclusive environment where individuals can express themselves, learn new skills, and connect with others in the community. The support we receive is vital in making this possible, and we are grateful for the partnerships that help us enrich lives through art.
